The Poornaprajna Education Centre is run under the aegis of the Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council. The Founder President , His Holiness Shree Shree Shree Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji, Pontiff of the Admar Mutt has always been a source of inspiration and guidance. The institution is presently led by His Holiness Shree Shree Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji, President of The Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council.
The school is located in a beautiful locality with a large playground. It is a co- educational English Medium Institution. It is well-equipped with the necessary instructional Laboratories, Modern Library, Reading Room, Computer Centre, Self-Study Centre and Vocational Training facilities.
The centre’s primary objective is to foster the free growth of pupils in a clean and healthy environment, nurturing their inherent faculties and instilling values of righteousness, discipline, and duty towards society and the nation, thereby preparing them for responsible citizenship.
To promote physical well-being, expert coaching is provided in yoga and various sports such as Table Tennis, Throw Ball, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton and Foot ball. Physical Education classes, including Mass Physical Training, are integral to the curriculum.
The centre actively participates in Science Exhibitions, Seminars, Art and Painting Competitions, Debates, Sports and Athletics organized by the Department of Public Instruction and other private bodies. It runs classes from Nursery to Standard VIII in the Pre – Primary and Primary sections, following the Curricula prescribed by the Department of School Education, Government of Karnataka.
The Medium of instruction is English. The curriculum includes Mathematics, General Science, and Social Studies along with English, Kannada, Hindi & Sanskrit. From Class V to VIII, students receive Work Experience training in Sewing, Knitting, Embroidery, Cooking, and Handicrafts. Music and Electronics are taught by qualified teachers. Teaching of Computer Science is arranged in the Computer Centre for all students.

Science classes for primary students are held regularly in the laboratory, with a two- hour practical class per week.

The Audio Visual section is equipped with colour LCD TVs’ and DVD players to supplement classroom learning.

The Pre – Primary section operates a single session using a play-way method and the Primary section function in two sessions.

Extra –curricular activities like Painting, Karate & Hindi Classes are held after school hours.

School Library houses over 13,000 books and provides supplementary reading for students of Pre – Primary, and Primary School.
